BETWEEN US is a long term collaboration between Anyuta Wiazemsky Snauwaert and Kim Snauwaert, who both work in visual arts, theater and film. We have a joint vision on generosity and responsibility, social involvement and engagement based on empathy.

It all started when Kim proposed to marry me so that I could stay in the country where I put down my roots. According to the Belgian law, a marriage is only legal when it is directed towards creating a sustainable community living. But this was exactly our goal!

During almost ten years this shared practice had taken different shapes and manifested itself in various projects.
